two months combing the nation for the next generation of high
tech superstars and found an army of prodigies poised to make
their mark on the world. Here is the Forbes ASAP High
Tech Teenage ALL-America Team.
Bruce Dang, 18, SCHOOL: Henry Foss High
School, Tacoma, WA.
At
age 15, started a company that reviews technical books for all
major American book publishers, including Prentice Hall,
Addison Wesley, and Microsoft Press. He has completed reviews
for more than 30 books. One review was published in IEEE
Software, a trade journal. He is a Microsoft certified
systems engineer and the security administrator and technology
mentor for his county's "club tech;' a national $100
million Microsoft program that outfits Boys and Girls Clubs
with up-to-date technology. "I would not be surprised to
see him as a technology leader of the future;' says Vint Cerf,
one of the founding fathers of the Internet.
